MCGILL CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC:
Music for Little Children/Orff Instructor January 2009-Present
Responsibilities include creating weekly lesson plans for children aged 3-7 years of age. As the instructor, adaptation was implemented to fit each individual child’s needs and the use of multiple teaching methods (visual, tactile auditory) is necessary to reinforce and simplify complex concepts.
ROSEMOUNT HIGH SCHOOL: Clarinet Instructor September 2006-Present
Responsibilities include organizing and developing engaging lesson plans for teens enrolled in the music program as well as conducting clarinet sectionals in private group settings. This position also requires the planning of musical activities for intensive music camp retreats and reporting to the teachers on improvements of the students as well as areas of concern.
SCHULICH SCHOOL OF MUSIC, Box Office September 2009-Present
This position required the management and maintenance of the ticket records and database. Main duties included selling admission tickets, balancing cash receipts and unsold tickets to ensure accuracy and security as well as providing information to customers regarding scheduling, locations and pricing of various events.
